Aviation: Cool Women Who Fly – Nomad Press is passionate about sparking the interest of young readers in the fascinating world around them. Our books take kids far beyond the words on the page into a world of exploration and experiential education. We provide informational text and bring it to life with hands-on projects that balance learning and fun. Isn’t that what learning should be? As kids use our books to explore the history and science behind a wide variety of topics—from ancient Maya civilization to the world of robotics—they become curious and engaged lifelong learners. The cover art for Aviation: Cool Women Who Fly was taken by me during the 2015 Girls in Aviation Day. I was contacted and my image was selected for the cover. You can download a sample chapter from the book at the link below
